| Spain, in a nutshell |
If you're reading this, odds are you already know me. (Hang in there, this is my long introductory post, but there's a lot of good stuff in here, and look, there are already pictures!) On the rare chance that someone else is reading this, my name is Hannah (hopefully you gathered this from the title), I am a junior at the University of Minnesota, and this fall semester I will be studying abroad in Toledo, Spain!! This will be my first time out of the US and I'm so excited to live in Spain, travel around Europe and experience all of that history and culture!
I'm actually majoring in Biology, but I probably won't be doing much of that this semester. Toledo will mostly be devoted to my Spanish Studies minor: culture, language, history, art, and literature classes. It will be very interesting to take a break from science and focus solely on Spanish! (But maybe I'll find somewhere to go bird-watching or something!)

So... I thought I'd keep a nice little blog to keep track of my adventures, and to share them with all of you! "All of you" so far is just my mom and dad... But if nothing else, I'll keep them posted, give Etta her weekly updates, NOT give Alex his weekly updates since he's banned, trade stories with Emilie in Denmark (and everyone else who's abroad!), let my friends and sexy Ninjas at home/school know what awesome shenanigans I'm up to, and hopefully make Emily DePalma cry from jealousy.
I head back up to Minneapolis next Sunday to hit up the MN State Fair with my parents (state fair newbs), and then to catch my flight on Monday. This week will mostly be running around and packing, so I'll keep you posted on how that's going! My posts won't normally be this boring, I promise; I'll be sure to include more fun/relevant pictures and humorous anecdotes. But I've had my blog created, designed, and ready to be written in for many days now, and I figured I'd better get it started!
